Caticlan (Boracay) Airport (MPH)

Officially named the Godofredo P. Ramos Airport, Caticlan (or Boracay) Airport is the closest airport to Boracay, located right off the southern tip of the island in nearby Caticlan.

The airport is currently going through a developmental push and is being rapidly modernized, bearing the new name “Boracay Airport”.

Visitors flying domestic within the Philippines or from a flight transferring in Manila are highly encouraged to fly to Caticlan (MPH) instead of Kalibo (KLO). While tickets to Caticlan (MPH) are generally more expensive than that of Kalibo, please remember that Kalibo is 90 minutes away by bus and a far more congested airport.

Don’t forget to arrange a transfer service online between Caticlan Airport and your hotel on Boracay. Reserving online includes the following benefits: pick up service, jetty (boat) charges, environmental taxes, as well as a Boracay map and guide, face towel and welcome drink, and can be arranged between both Kalibo and Caticlan airports and any hotel on Boracay.

Visitors flying international from Singapore, Korea, or Hong Kong are advised to fly direct to Kalibo (KLO), thereby skipping a transfer in Manila (which causes frequent delays for most aircraft).

Currently, the three airlines that fly to Caticlan are Philippine Airlines, Cebu Pacific (recommended), and Skyjet (leisure airline). All three airlines fly to Manila, with Cebu Pacific additional limited service to Cebu. It is recommended to purchase tickets as far in advance as possible to secure a seat and good promotion.
